11•23•07 The Alamosa Motor Speedway will join forces with the International Motor Contest Association, (IMCA), to sanction the modified division in 2008.   Points earned at AMS will count towards either the Western Region or the Central Region as we have been granted border status.  This will allow drivers to claim their region upon registering and the points earned will go towards that region.   Hopefully this will allow more cars to join us for weekly racing throughout the race season.   The 2008 Rules for the IMCA have been posted on their web site http://www.imca.com .    A direct link to the rules is http://www.imca.com/rules.php?divisionid=1 .
